What's New?

Welcome to my website. Check out some of the updates I'm making to Vision.NET! I've just added IO for Matlab data files and am in the process of adding an implementation of large-scale K-Means clustering using some of the latest algorithms for initialization and parallel iteration.

Who am I?

I am currently Executive VP of Engineering for Unicorn Media, Inc. where over the last few years I have built and managed a team of excellent engineers as we've pushed the boundaries of media content delivery technology. My research interests include machine learning, computer vision, information retrieval, natural language processing, and user interface design.

Previously, I worked as a research and development engineer for Nokia Point & Find, now known as Nokia Visual Search, where I was directly responsible for the technology underpinning Nokia City Lens. Before that, I was a PhD student in Roberto Cipolla's Computer Vision group at the University of Cambridge. Before that, I worked closely with Kobus Barnard at the University of Arizona, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
