Welcome to my website. Some new items:

  • SVM.NET 1.6.3 is now available. This version fixes two small bugs, an off-by-one bug in GaussianTransform.Transform() (thanks goes to John Tierney) and a bug where the existing culture was overwritten by the invariant culture during IO (thank you Moreno Carullo).

Who am I?

I am currently perform research and development for Nokia Point & Find where I am helping to push the boundaries of computer vision for hand-held devices as part of this exciting new product. My research interests include machine learning, computer vision, information retrieval, natural language processing, and user interface design.

Biography

Previously, I was a PhD student in Roberto Cipolla's Computer Vision group at the University of Cambridge. Before that, I worked closely with Kobus Barnard at the University of Arizona, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
